The Catalogue is designed for regions and policy makers who want to have an overall picture of sustainability and are interested in monitoring the contribution of their S3/S4 to sustainability. Its aim is to achieve a minimum set of indicators to monitor sustainability in a region. In addition, it is intended to propose the relationship between the selected indicators giving a holistic and integrated view of sustainability. Finally, it considers how the S4 can contribute to regional sustainability by linking regional indicators and sectoral indicators.
